The CDP system is a clinical balance assessment tool that collects and analyzes force and moment data from a balance plate. Its software contains assessment and training modules that can be used during each session.
CDP enables the clinician to efficiently analyze how a patient with a balance impairment uses vision, proprioception and vestibular function to establish and maintain balance, and to determine which system might be causing the impairment.
CDP can document the initial level of impairment against normative data such as gender, age and height, and can measure the progress as the patient gradually improves through the rehabilitation process.
